GMT White House
Washington DC - Limited Edition
World Tour
In 2019, Out of Order Watches introduced the Swiss GMT collection. Since then, thanks to this "multicultural" family of timepieces whose design draws inspiration from various cities around the world, we can travel the globe just by looking at the watch.
In the same year, for the first time in the world, Out of Order manages to stabilize rust.
White House homage
Five years later, after the "last journeys" to New York, Rome, Venezia, Marrakesh, Medellin, L'Havana, Juneau, Tokyo (...and many others), Out of Order Watches decides to pay homage to the White House, the iconic residence of the President of the United States.
The President’s House, one of the most photographed and filmed buildings in the world, is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C. and features neoclassical architecture. It is widely reported that this iconic building is called the "White House" because during the conflict between the United States and Great Britain from 1812 to 1815, British-Canadian troops set it on fire.
Once hostilities concluded, it was restored and painted white to conceal the marks left by the fire. The name "White House" was officially adopted during the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt (September 14, 1901 – March 4, 1909), although it had been used before due to its bright color in stark contrast to the surrounding red-brick buildings.
Marble elegance
What stands out most about the new Swiss GMT White House is undoubtedly the translucent resin dial with a marbled effect; a clear reference to the exquisite Botticino marble, extracted in Italy from a specific area in the Lombard province of Brescia, which was used to build the White House.

Unique craftsmanship
